Welcome to That Baby Place!

We’re Lucy Webber and Josie Routley, and we’re here to support you with feeding your baby. Everyone is welcome to visit us, wherever you’re coming from, whatever your child’s age, and whatever feeding challenges you’re facing.

At That Baby Place, we provide expert, compassionate support. As International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), we offer evidence-based guidance tailored to every parent, baby, and feeding journey. We’ll always support you to make informed choices.

Sometimes, when feeding babies the word ‘choice’ can feel far too simple or even unjust. Sometimes we’re supporting you on a difficult or unexpected path. There are still choices to be made, but they might not be the ones you thought you’d be making, and we get that.

We work with kindness and without judgement. We always place your individual needs at the heart of our care, so you can feed your baby with confidence. And we always have biscuits.

What is an IBCLC? An IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) is the highest qualification in breastfeeding and bottle feeding. At qualification IBCLCs have 1000 hours of experience supporting families, extensive health training (ie midwife, nurse, health sciences) lactation specific training and pass a 4 hour exam . This means they can offer skilled support with everything from routine feeding questions to complex challenges.
